Video: Torii Gate & Mount Fuji

Intermediate Level

This lesson is inspired by the amazing country of Japan. In this artwork we draw some of Japan’s most famous symbols, a torii gate and Mount Fuji. Tori gates can be seen throughout Japan at the entrance to Shinto shrines. Mount Fuji is an active volcano not far from Tokyo. It is often considered the symbol of Japan and has been featured in many artworks.
